Networking

The faculty had been continuously established networking activities with local, national and international entities for mutual benefits. Areas of networking for the faculty is not limited to Research, but also Academic programmes, Community Engagement, and else.

Followings are among recently Networking activities;

A. INTERNATIONALIZATION

1. Sakura Science Exchange Program at Maeda Lab, Kyutech, Japan (2019)

Two lecturers from the Faculty of Health Sciences, UniSZA- Dr. Nur Ayuni Kadir and Dr. Kan Su-Yin, participated in Sakura Science Exchange Program at Kyushu Institute of Technology (Kyutech), Japan, from July 7 to 27 2019, under the sponsorship of Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST). The program aims to introduce and offer experience in the science and technology in Japan, thereby promoting knowledge transfer and strengthen the collaborative research between Japan and Malaysia.

B. ACADEMIC MOBILITY

1. PROGRAM MENANDATANGANI MEMORANDUM PERSEFAHAMAN (MoU) DAN MOBILITI TIDAK BERKREDIT ANTARA UNIVERSITI SULTAN ZAINAL ABIDIN (UniSZA) DAN UNIVERSITAS ‘AISYIYAH (UNISA), INDONESIA (12 -18 OGOS 2019)

FSK had sent a total of 13 students from the Diploma in Radiography and ISM Medical Imaging (Hons) programs to follow the non -credit student mobility program. A total of three (3) escort officers were with the student, namely Dr. Kamarul Amin bin Abdullah @ Abu Bakar, Dr. Suffian bin Mohd Tajudin, and Pn. Nor Azimah bint Othman. The Dean of FSK, Prof Dr Sakinah Harith was also present for the MoU. This effort can intensify internationalization activities through cooperation networks with foreign universities. The output is in the form of knowledge of how medical imaging systems are implemented in Indonesia.

C. ACADEMIC COLLABORATION

1. LAWATAN AKADEMIK DELEGASI DARI RAJAMANGALA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY THANYABURI (RMUTT), PATHUM THANI, THAILAND (11 -12 OGOS 2018)

Bilateral face-to-face discussions were conducted at the faculty to discuss research collaboration, supervision, staff and student mobility as well as conferences that can be implemented as activities between UniSZA and RMUTT.
